The 2017 SFAA Conference was a great experience. Since it was my first year, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Well, I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed. I found myself surrounded by likeminded individuals looking to increase their level of knowledge on how to help the professional athlete. The presenters were topical and qualified. As an advisor it was good to hear from other non-financial advisor professionals about their experiences and challenges working with the professional athlete. I made quite a few networking connections that will definitely help both my existing athlete client base and any new ones. I am looking forward to next year’s conference for sure!

It was an honor to have been selected to speak at the SFAA conference in 2016 and 2017 on the link between psychology and financial advising of athletes. This conference is diverse as it has professionals in business, financial advising, law, and representation from professional athletics. I was impressed at the support and desire of the audience wanting to know more about the link between psychology and financial advising. I endorse this conference for people who are in the financial advising industry.
