One of the most important aspects of specializing as an advisor for professional athletes (future, current or retired) is understanding the unique challenges they face. So we’re very excited to announce that Brian Barton will be speaking about transition – a major issue for professional athletes.
Brian D Barton is a former major league baseball player of the St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves. He now serves as a youth advocate for financial literacy, personal development and social responsibility.
An entrepreneur, author (with 2 books under his belt) and empowerment speaker, Brian continues to tell people to be 100 percent of the 1 percent odds to be successful.

In his own words:
My personal mission is to determine purpose in all of my endeavors, pursue passions that have been revealed to me, and demonstrate integrity in my life. The mission also consists of living a fulfilled life by taking advantage of new opportunities and continuously pursuing my quest for knowledge – by meeting new people, traveling to new places, and being receptive to new ideas.
My ultimate goal is to place a hand in impacting and enhancing the lives of others. In all, I recognize that my personal mission cannot and will not be fulfilled without the grace of God; the source of my strength, my happiness, and my life.
